I have heard people go both ways with this. Some will say using plugins individually is best because you can get and manage exactly what you want when it comes to your back end SEO on your blog or website. Others say all-in-one plugins or kits work better because you know the tools are designed to work together. When you manage a lot of plugins you risk things breaking every time you have to update.Â
Which do you think is better? Which do you use if you run a WordPress blog, website, or store front?Â
You can go either way really. I have done both and I find for me, personally, I would rather use the plugins that I plan on using in their entirety. When you get an all-in-one that you only use a few features of, you can't just remove the rest and it can slow down your site in the long run. That is enough to effect your traffic on search engines as well which is something I am very cautious of. Updating can be a pain, yes and I find myself needing to replace things from time to time but I don't mind the extra work. Â

That is what I was thinking. If I use an all-in-one and end up just using more plugins on top of that anyways, that is just more on the back-end that can slow everything down. On the other hand, I don't want to deal with having plugins break or not function together after one of WordPress' updates. Which kind of site do you manage if you don't mind me asking? Like it terms of it being a store, blog, service, etc.Â
