Would you say that Shopify is a good option for someone looking to start out a new business online?

They have a basic option for $29 per month which I think is a fair price, especially if you are able to earn right away. I am just curious how beginner friendly it is and whether or not you would recommend it to someone who has never run/owned an online business before.

I would say it is one of the easiest and fastest ways to get started, for sure!

It is not free, mind you, but what they include makes it more than work it. They include a very simple to ease designer with tons of templates to choose from built right in. I used Shopify for my first ever online business and it did fantastic! I only switched when I was able to afford having someone code me something from scratch.

WooCommerce is better for beginners, in my opinion. This one runs on WordPress which is actually great for starting a new storefront.

That being said, I wouldn't say a beginner couldn't use Shopify or easily set up a store, I think that Woo is just a better options. Plus, it is free.
